Bills Sponsored:
-
This act would also be referred to as the “Terminating Infrastructure Maintenance and Expenditures for Obstructionist Urban Trash heaps Act” (TIMEOUT Act). Essentially, this act would force relocation of Federal office spaces out of sanctuary cities, which are cities that have restricted any government entity or official from sharing the citizenship status of any city residents with the government or from complying with requests from DHS to detain individuals.
-
This bill would be called the “Banning Lobbying And Safeguarding Trust Act” (BLAST Act). It would prohibit former members or officers of Congress from lobbying Congress after leaving office.
-
This bill would require a content warning on any video programming that “depicts, discusses, or promotes gender identity, gender transition, transgender identity, or non-binary identity”.
-
This bill would be called the “Countering Radicalism Under Sharia And defeating Extremism Act” (CRUSADE Act). It would require immigrants to disavow sharia law and take an oath to uphold the Constitution. This would be in direct violation of our Constitutional right to practice one’s preferred religion, considering “Sharia law” is literally just Muslim religious guidelines, and the contents and requirements are debated among scholars and vary depending on how modern the practitioner would like their religious practices to be. It’s like how some Christians think we should still kill witches and stone prostitutes, and some think that’s a horrible thing to do and does not align with the kindness taught by Jesus. Some Muslims believe in corporal punishment for crimes like heresy, and others disavow the more militant groups and want Islam to be a religion of peace. Asking a Muslim person to disavow sharia law is like asking a Christian person to disavow the Ten Commandments.
-
This bill would prevent hopeful immigrants from gaining citizenship if there’s a likelihood that the job they’d be coming here to do would otherwise be occupied by an American citizen.
-
This bill would require the President to define veteran success (in terms of employment, furthering their education and overall wellbeing) and develop and implement a National Veterans Strategy.
-
This bill would be called the “Defeat Sharia Law in America Act”. It would add to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that any establishment providing accommodations by implementing Sharia law would be considered discriminating or segregating on the ground of religion. … I’m pretty sure it’s already illegal for any establishment to force someone to follow any religious doctrine. Or, in cases like Masterpiece Cakeshop Ltd. v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, businesses are currently allowed to deny services to customers based on religious purposes and this is not considered forcing someone’s religion on the customer because that customer can simply go to a different business. If this law were to be enacted, it could set a precedent for businesses having to serve customers even if it goes against their faith.

Item description
-
This bill would be called the “Countering Beijing’s Weaponization of Fentanyl Act”. It would basically just give the President the power to impose sanctions against countries that may harm any other country via programs that produce, develop, or distribute chemical or biological weapons or specified molecules related to fentanyl production.
-
This bill would amend the Clean Air Act, which regulates consumer or commercial fuel products in order to reduce pollution, by excluding portable fuel containers, fuel or fuel additives, and motor vehicles, non-road vehicles, or non-road engines from the term “consumer or commercial product”.
-
This bill would prohibit governments and individuals designated by the Secretary of Commerce as foreign adversaries from participating in rule making or petitioning an agency.
-
This bill would add a minor amendment to improve the Federal carjacking statute.
-
This bill would amend the federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to require abortion-inducing drugs to bear a label with the name and address of the dispenser and the name of the doctor who prescribed the drug, most likely as an intimidation tactic to prevent doctors that operate over the internet from being able to prescribe abortion pills to patients in states where such a pill would be illegal.
-
This bill would provide access to advocacy (like a social worker or legal professional) for parents involved in a child welfare case.
-
Bush approved a $13.4 billion bailout plan for General Motors and Chrysler in 2008. This bill would waive the statute of limitations for lawsuits against the government in relation to this bailout that were filed on or before July 9, 2015. This would mean that if you started to sue the government for wasting your tax dollars on General Motors before this date, there would be no limit of time for how long you could continue the lawsuit; it wouldn’t just expire after awhile because it happened too long ago.
-
This bill would require the Bureau of Prisons to issue an I.D. that meets the standards of the REAL ID Act to any prisoners being released from Federal Custody. This ID card would be usable for the purposes of: receiving Social Security benefits, Medicaid, Medicare, entering a federal building, any program by the department of Health and Human Services, SNAP, any program by the Department of Education, any program by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and any program by the department of Veterans Affairs.
Many homeless people have issues getting a job or applying to anything because they have lost their I.D. or had it stolen. If you want to get an I.D., you usually need to bring an I.D. or secondary proof like a birth certificate, and many states require a permanent residential address to issue an I.D. This bill would give homeless people a way to actually access the benefits they need to survive and escape homelessness instead of just cycling them in and out of prison forever.
-
This bill would provide a definition for antisemitism in order to better enforce civil rights laws. The definition chosen would be sourced from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, which states “Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities”. The IHRA website also specifies that “criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic”.
-
This bill would be called the “Strengthening Transparency and Obligations to Protect Children Suffering from Abuse and Mistreatment Act of 2025” (STOP CSAM Act of 2025). Among other things, it would place obligations on internet providers to report online sexual exploitation to the CyberTipline and establish penalties for providers who do not do so.
-
This bill would require the services that respond to feral pig threats via eradication or population control to work with one or more land-grant colleges or universities to provide educational support to the program.
-
This bill would prohibit anyone with gender dysphoria from serving as members of the Armed Forces.
-
This bill would edit the Small Business Act so the definition of a service-disabled veteran-owned small business includes the surviving children of the disabled veteran.
-
This bill would prohibit the IRS from providing its employees with firearms and munitions
-
This bill would abolish the Department of Education and provide funding directly to States for elementary and secondary schools.
-
This bill would add tree nuts to the senior farmers’ market nutrition program
-
This bill would establish a commission to collect data on National Agriculture in order to submit recommendations for administrative and legislative changes to the President and Congress.
-
This bill expanded federal agencies’ expenditure reporting requirements to include “other transaction agreement” expenditures.
-
This bill would classify receiving a DUI as grounds for potential immigrants to be either barred from admission into the U.S. or deported.
-
This bill would require the USDA to provide a notice and comment period before making any substantive changes to the SNAP quality control system.
Barry Moore in his own words:
Barry Moore’s website describes himself as “Alabama’s Most Conservative Congressman” and “the first elected official in America to endorse Donald Trump”. He lists his priorities in the U.S. Senate as: Border Security and Immigration (including English as the official language), Law and Order (and opposing radical left groups), Protecting Women’s Sports (via transphobic legislation), the Second Amendment, Small Business, Stand with President Trump, The Economy (where he then only describes how he believes Trump has built the economy), and Veterans.
Barry Moore in the bills he’s sponsored:
This guy sucks. One of his bills, H.R. 8756, also called the CRUSADE Act, would require any immigrants applying for their citizenship to renounce the tenants of their Muslim faith (Sharia law). It’s clear through his legislation he doesn’t have a clue what Sharia law is, and that requiring Muslim people to renounce it would be like asking Christians to renounce the Ten Commandments. To be clear, I don’t care for either religion. I think they both have radical groups that are oppressive to women, and less radical groups that are kind and wonderful because they’ve modernized and don’t take everything in their holy books as completely timeless and literal. Another bill he’s proposed, H.R. 5969, would require doctors who prescribe abortion-inducing medication to dox themselves, in case states where these medications are illegal want to prosecute them. Keep in mind, while most, if not all states that have made abortion illegal have added carve-outs to their legislation for cases of medical emergencies, doctors are too scared of losing their license or going to jail within these states to provide life-saving abortions because they would have to prove in court that it was an emergency. It’s hard to prove an abortion is a medical necessity until it’s too late and risky. This bill would give doctors in other states, where abortion pills are legal, reason to fear prescribing these medicines to women who wouldn’t be able to acquire them otherwise.
Barry Moore has sponsored some bills I approve of. H.R. 5152 would require the Federal Bureau of Prisons to give an I.D. to any prisoners being released from federal custody. A major issue within homeless communities is that many homeless people have their I.D. lost or stolen, and in order to receive another I.D. you typically have to have an I.D. already, or at least a birth certificate. Without an I.D., they aren’t able to apply for any kind of job or assistance that would help them escape homelessness.
His potential successor:
Barry Moore is currently running against Everett W. Wess. Everett Wess’ website describes him as a “lifelong public servant, civil rights advocate, and experienced attorney”. His proclaimed goal is to fight to “Protect Alabama jobs, Healthcare, and Tough fair justice”. He also professes a passion for safe communities, affordable healthcare, and protecting the rights of all citizens by advocating for fair courts. The fact that Everett Wess’ website doesn’t mention “Sharia law” even once already puts him head and shoulders above Barry Moore in my opinion.
His blog posts also describe him as the son of a union worker, and the great-grandson of sharecroppers. The voter guide blog post on his website elaborates even further on his views, values, and background.
