Existing law states permits creation of a “wet” district (where alcohol is legal) within a “dry” county (where alcohol is not legal). This bill, if it were to be passed, would repeal that allowance.

This bill would edit current law that requires owners of “manufactured homes” (a type of house that is assembled in a factory and then shipped to the property it will stay on) to apply for a manufactured home title unless the home’s model is from 1999 or earlier. This bill would allow homeowners to get titles for manufactured houses modeled before 1999.

Judging by the little bit I can see from Cindy’s Facebook page without having to log in, she seems to care a lot about Smith Lake in Cullman County. Upon further inspection, the Alabama Daily News explains that this was a major issue in her campaign for special election in 2025.
According to the article, some of her main focus points are forging a way for members of her district to be able to reach out and speak with her so she can keep them informed and learn what they care most about, as well as the balance between parents’ rights and protecting children from unfit guardians, improved speed and quality of first responders, and expanding the available education of trade and life skills in Alabama schools.

Similarly to Heath Allbright, Cindy Myrex was only recently elected into her seat via a special election and therefore has likely not had time to draft a ton of bills. The two bills she has sponsored relate to homeowners being able to get titles for their houses, and repealing an act which dealt with merging of areas that ban or don’t ban alcohol.
