This bill amended the Alabama Constitution to specify that privately owned sewer systems in Madison County that use public areas under the jurisdiction of the Public Service Commission, which will regulate rates and charges by whoever owns these sewer systems.

This bill amended the Sweet Home Alabama Tourism Investment Act to allow another $2.5 million in tax rebates for qualifying projects, and required approved companies to use an independent CPA to verify project costs.

This bill amends the allowances for mark up fees on wholesale liquor sales by redefining what is included within the term “cost of merchandise”.

This bill exempts AIDT (Alabama Industrial Development Training) (A state agency that works to recruit and train a skilled workforce to attract new industries to the state) from the requirements usually necessary for a state department to procure supplies and services.

This bill created new categories of licenses for small craft distilleries and wineries and outlines the qualifications and license requirements necessary.

This bill makes it easier for Alabama cities to finance preparing land for large manufacturers to develop certain areas by using Tax Increment Districts.
